Conclusion


Panmure Bridge School is a primary, intermediate school. We have two new classes named LS1 & LS2. We also have a new park for the seniors. We get fonterra milk and we get fruit too. We have sport teams. We are a digital school and is part of the manaiakalani cluster with twelve other school’s including Tamaki College. We also get free shoes called Kidscan. I like this school because we have hardworking teachers and many kids you make friends with.

Explanation

How Aeroplanes Fly

Planes were invented a long time ago. Probably before your parents were born. Not many people know how to fly a plane and not many care.


Lift is the force that directly opposes the weight of an airplane and holds the airplane in the air. Lift is generated by every part of the airplane, but most of the lift on a normal airliner is generated by the wings. Lift is a mechanical aerodynamic force produced by the motion of the airplane through the air.


Thrust is a force or a push. When a system pushes or accelerates mass in one direction, there is a thrust (force) just as large in the opposite direction. In math and physics, this is described by Isaac Newton's second and third laws. Thrust is used to describe how well a type of engine runs.

Drag is the force that opposes an aircraft's motion through the air. Drag is generated by every part of the airplane (even the engines!).


Weight is the gravity when you land the plane,Helicopter,Hot air Balloon  and birds. And to overcome the lift to get more weight I think you just need to get a bigger plane that could fit more people in the plane.

This week for inquiry we had to test 3 balloons put it on a straw which was on a string blow it up and let it go and see how far it would go they all had 3 attempts to make the meters the length had to be 6 to 8 meters.

The Sea

On a scorching hot day a boy name Jason went down to the beach. Jason was a lifesaver at the beach and always got people getting attacked by sharks and killer whale.

The next day there was a enormous 10 ft wave hitting the beach they were getting call after call about people drowning because of that wave and shark attacks and Orca attacks because they were closer to the shallow bit of the beach.

That day 3 people died 18 injured. It was sad Jason had to save 14 and that was the most. The next 2 years he became the boss. There was another enormous wave but it was bigger than the one 2 years ago.

All the lifeguards rushed out the sand was boiling hot and the life guards saying ouch ouch but with a big voice Jason shouted hurry up but they didn’t listen so Jason ran out got the boat and rushed while the other life guards were whining. Jason saved 19 people but 9 died.

Jason then retired and lived in New Zealand and said he would never go back to that beach and be a lifeguard again because he nearly died.
